Rafael Caro y Erica Parker aportan cada uno más de una década de experiencia en murales y arte público.
Son conocidos por sus colores vibrantes y su cautivador estilo ilustrativo, y también son reconocidos por su genuina colaboración y su atractiva presencia in situ a lo largo de cada proyecto.
We are CHROMATIC. We create large-scale murals and mixed-media artwork that explore color, style, and storytelling. Our work blends illustrative detail with layered textures and hand-painted techniques, producing pieces that feel both vibrant and intentional. We are drawn to the process as much as the outcome: drawing, painting, and problem-solving on the wall guide the work as much as any plan.
Our backgrounds in fine art, design, and collaborative projects inform a practice that values experimentation, scale, and public engagement. Over the years, we’ve exhibited in galleries, run an independent art space, and collaborated with other artists to push ideas about scale, narrative, and public engagement.
At the core of our practice is connection. We aim to create artwork that transforms spaces, sparks curiosity, and resonates with viewers. Every piece is a conversation between surface, story, and audience. In other words, it is a chance to make space feel generous, alive, and human.
Entre 2020 y 2023, el dúo de artistas inauguró "Chromatic Collective", un espacio de arte independiente en Indianápolis dedicado a la exhibición de artistas emergentes y regionales. La galería funcionó como un centro creativo para exposiciones, eventos comunitarios y proyectos colaborativos.
